The ALCOSAN Open House is always a favorite event of ours! Huge thank you to everyone that stopped by and participated in our filtration activity! We had so much fun with the kids on a beautiful day and are already looking forward to next year!

We are STILL talking about how much fun our Annual Charity Fundraiser benefiting Dress for Success Pittsburgh was! A huge thank you to everyone that attended, donated baskets, donated items, sponsored, and helped make this event another successful one! We cannot thank you enough. We raised $1,769 and made countless memories. A special thank you to Brown and Caldwell, Wade Trim, Tetra Tech, Sullivan Environmental Technologies and Geosyntec Consultants for sponsoring as well! The Annual Society of Women Environmental Professionals Three Rivers Charity event always has a special place in my heart, especially since I had a hand in planning the first one in 2019. It’s always fun to catch up with board and committee members past and present in addition to making new connections. This year’s event once again benefited Dress for Success Pittsburgh who helped 4,000 women last year alone by providing resume building skills and business essentials for success. Thank you Tanya Vokes for all your organization does for the women of our region! Thank you also to Moody and Associates, Inc. for sponsoring the gardening gift basket ??! For the 3rd year, SWEP member volunteers joined the summer counselors at Camp Soles to help wrangle 84 girls and young women by hosting afternoon crafts and talking about possible environmental professions and educational activities. From tie-dying to seed bombs, we had a blast, made plenty of messes, connected with brilliant young minds and enjoyed the beautiful scenery at the camp. Need some good news?
