Sweetser’s President & CEO Jayne Van Bramer has made the list of the Top Women Leaders of 2025 by Women We Admire, an internationally recognized women's news outlet. This honor is awarded to leaders who inspire those around them and cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and success in the organizations and communities they serve. Jayne's dedication to improving Maine's behavioral health landscape, her commitment to expanding evidence-based treatment options to more Mainers in need, and her drive to eliminate mental health stigma are just some of the ways Jayne's efforts merit this powerful recognition as one of the nation’s top women leaders of 2025. NEWS: John McAnuff, chief financial officer of Sweetser, told Maine Morning Star that the statewide behavioral health organization hasn’t yet been impacted by delayed payments. Some had been expected by the payment cycle that begins next week, but with a payment date now in sight, Sweetser has a plan to be able to make it into late June, McAnuff said.?“We have been getting continual updates from the department and we really appreciate that they’re working closely with providers like us,” he said. “I think now that there’s a little bit of finality to the process that we will be receiving a more definitive plan.”
