On April 5th from 5pm-9pm, 16 teams are going head-to-head for families in need to see who are the best diaper wrappers in Greater Cincinnati. Presented by Perfetti Van Melle, this casual, high-energy event is one you do not want to miss! Join Tidal Babe Period Bank, a program of?COVERD Greater Cincinnati, for our very first Period Power Party on May 16th! It's a fact - at least 50% of the population have periods. Yet society has taught us that periods are gross, embarrassing, and should never be spoken about. We want you to know that having a period is a?normal, biological function that you shouldn't be ashamed of.?It's time to turn the stigma of menstruation into a celebration! And that's exactly what we're gonna do. This FREE, family-friendly event will have crafts, music, snacks, and a free film screening of the Oscar-winning, short documentary film,?"Period. Join us next week, March 5th, for our advocacy event: "Ending the Cycle: How to Join the Fight for Period Justice!" This event is FREE and breakfast from The Bagelry is included with each registration. We are excited to welcome Jennifer Gaines, Manager of National Engagement, from The Alliance for Period Supplies, as our keynote speaker. She will discuss what we can do to end the stigma around periods; current legislation (like ending the tax on period products); and other ways we can get involved in the fight for period justice. We will also have a variety of special guests joining us for the panel discussion. AND there will be a chance to win some fun prizes! The KPMG team had a great time volunteering at Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank! TOGETHER we wrapped almost 10,000 diapers to be distributed to those experiencing diaper need. Sweet Cheeks is an amazing organization making the difference for families in Cincinnati and we were happy to be a small part of that impact! #KPMGCincinnati #KPMGVolunteer
