Do you know who founded the first Black-owned ad agency in the U.S.? In 1956, Vincent T. Cullers created Vince Cullers Advertising during the pivotal Civil Rights Movement. His firm was among the first to target ads specifically toward Black and brown communities, positively shaping the portrayal of Black people in advertising at a time when most agencies only catered to white customers. Happy Black History Month!

We had the privilege to collaborate with Black Health Explained Foundation? for the Ghanaian-Diaspora Nursing Alliance, Inc.'s 2nd Annual Conference and Gala held at the LABADI BEACH HOTEL?in Ghana! ???? Our role included developing essential marketing materials and onsite photography for the conference and gala. While also capturing dynamic video and photo content on-site, contributing to the event's grand success. The conference atmosphere was electrifying, filled with the warm hospitality Ghana is known for and driven by the passionate nurses and midwives eager for professional advancement. This landmark event, exceeded all expectations thanks to the collective effort of many. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone that was involved in making this experience a success, and the 250+ members who attended. Your enthusiasm helped create a unique and joyous environment for professionals from across Africa and the Diaspora to connect, and collaborate. We look forward to next year's conference! "Africa in our DNA ?? " - these words rang true at our Ghanaian-Diaspora Nursing Alliance Inc 2nd Annual Conference and Gala at the LABADI BEACH HOTEL in Ghana???? . The energy was electric. The Ghanaian hospitality was overwhelming. The passion of nurses and midwives who are hungry for professional growth was inspiring. What started as an ambitious vision for our young volunteer-based organization transformed into a landmark event that exceeded all expectations. This success stems from countless contributions: our executive team's year-round dedication, the generosity of our collaborators, sponsors and donors, and the enthusiastic participation of our 250+ members who attended. We created a unique and joy-filled space where nurses and midwives from across Africa and the Diaspora could connect, collaborate, and strengthen nursing and midwifery. We were honored to have Professor Tlou Sheila as our Chairperson, whose presence deeply inspired our young professionals. Our MCs, Evelyn Amoako BSN, RN, MPH and Dr. Stacy Bentil DNP, MSN, RN, brilliantly guided us through the events. Our advisory council's wisdom and dedication were invaluable. A special thank you to our colleagues from the African Diaspora and especially DNPs of Color who traveled to Ghana for the conference and gala. Your commitment to collaboration has left an indelible mark on our community. Together, we're not just building a network - we're strengthening the future of healthcare in Africa and beyond.
