When you say microplastics, you are apparently also saying car tires. Recent research* shows that most microplastics in the Netherlands come from the wear and tear of car and truck tires. It’s yet another clear reminder that cycling isn’t just healthier, but also better for the environment.??? ? ? ?? ? Our tires deserve attention too, and we’re doing everything we can to reduce our impact. In 2021, we became the first company with a Vittoria2Go subscription: ‘tyres as a service’.? This means we lease tires from Vittoria, who remain responsible for both their maintenance and recycling, resulting in less wear and less waste. The result? Our e-bikes ride on premium tires that last longer and are less harmful to the planet.
