Welcome to 2025, Swanton! As we step into a brand-new year, I want to take a moment to reflect on an incredible 2024 and thank you for making it unforgettable. These milestones are a testament to the strength, support, and collaboration within our amazing community. On a personal note, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome you’ve extended to me during my first year as Executive Director of the Swanton Area Chamber of Commerce. While numbers and statistics highlight our achievements, what truly matters most are the relationships built along the way. The connections I’ve made with so many dedicated businesses and individuals have been the most rewarding part of this journey, and for that, I am deeply thankful. A huge thank you to Neil Toeppe for his 21 years of service as Chamber President, culminating in his retirement in 2023. Neil, your leadership, love of Swanton, and support have laid a strong foundation for the future of this organization. I am especially grateful for the guidance and encouragement you provided during my transition into this role. Here’s to a 2025 filled with growth, connection, and continued community spirit! Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the Swanton Middle School Community Luncheon, where select students were recognized for exemplifying the Swanton Seven skills during last week’s SES Italiano event. These students demonstrated exceptional manners and conversation skills—better than some I’ve encountered in the workforce! It was a proud moment to witness such poise and maturity from our future leaders. I’ve never been prouder to be a Bulldog!

Main Street Trading Post co.: we found so many Christmas presents for loved ones at a great price ? Curated Chaos LLC: Amazing jewelery, books, and Christmas sweaters galore! ? Beyond Grateful Customs: From teas to earrings… we ever escaped the Grinch. ?? ? Fessenden Hardware: Who doesn’t need a trip (or 10) when doing any home improvement project?! More importantly, we choose to celebrate and support small businesses everyday. Small businesses are the backbone of our community. Please get out there and support them today and everyday!
