Swamp Records is a Gainesville-based, artist resource, organization, and independent record label run entirely by students from the University of Florida. We offer marketing, PR, advertising, and booking services to musicians and bands in the Central Florida area while providing hands-on experience for students pursuing careers within the music industry. In addition, Swamp Records creates opportunities for artists to make connections in the music industry and perform through the multiple events we organize every year. Our immediate goal is to support and promote our artists, but as an organization dedicated to enhancing the local landscape, our broader goal is to bridge the gap between the Gainesville and University of Florida music scenes. In everything we do, we aim to create a central hub for music networking and collaboration in our area.

Beyond Debut: Witnessing Our Musical Maturity in Song, Sound, and Soul as Quail Hollow Records Album #2 The Music City magic worked its charm! Last month, my band ventured to LaLa Mansion in Nashville to kick off the recording of our second album. As a first-time visitor, the experience was truly unforgettable. This wasn't just about hitting the studio; it was about collaboration, growth, and pushing our creative boundaries. The energy from my bandmates, our incredible producer Andrew Boullianne , and the entire team was electric.?? Fast forward to last week, and we've wrapped up recording! Now, in March, Augustus Hoff and I rejoin our producer Andrew Boullianne for mixing and mastering. ? This project has been transformative. Our sound has matured, our songwriting sharpened, and our performances elevated. I have had such an amazing experience getting to be the vocal director for this album as the "Quail Hollow" sound has changed tremendously. You'll hear this evolution compared to our debut album, all within a year! The new album is a sonic exploration of personal growth, told through evocative nature metaphors. By weaving our stories into music, we hope to connect with you on a deeper level. Stay tuned! We're incredibly proud of this work and can't wait to share it with the world.
