CLINICAL SERVICES: We are an innovative, state-of-the art facility with a comprehensive and innovative approach to diagnosing and treating swallowing disorders. Our mission is simple - to provide extraordinary care for people with swallowing impairments (dysphagia). PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION: The Humbert Swallowing Training Program (HSTP) is an innovative educational program designed to address the limitations of current education and training for professionals managing swallowing disorders (dysphagia). By partnering with @stepcommunity, it offers a diverse range of educational experiences, both virtual and in-person (including swallowing residencies) that are intensive, accelerated, and clinically relevant. COMMUNITY SUPPORT: Swallowing is a daily function that can be taken for granted. Although 15 million people in the United States suffer from swallowing disorders, many do so in silence with little information, support or advocacy.
