We had such a great time at a local Career Day yesterday connecting with students and teaching them a little about the industry. We were able to share our company story with them, as well as allow the students to have some fun hands-on experiences. The students learned a little about the manufacturing process and all the different components. #companyspotlight Please join us in wishing Sherri congratulations and a happy retirement! Sherri has been a part of the Swaggerty’s Farm family for eighteen years. Joining our team in 2006, Sherri has worked in numerous roles. She’s worked on our production floors, been promoted to a Lead, promoted to a Supervisor, and now is a Receiving Specialist. Throughout her years, her favorite part of the job is the people. She’s cherished and appreciated the family-oriented company culture and the relationships and connections she’s built along the way. Her favorite Swaggerty’s Farm product is our hot sausage. In her free time, you'll find her spending time with her family, going to church, and taking her grandkids hunting and fishing. As Sherri steps into her next well-deserved chapter, we want to share our immense gratitude for her dedication, loyalty, and hard work. #companyspotlight Our General Plant Manager joined our team in 2019. Bringing with him over 25 years of experience in the meat industry. After holding numerous supervisor and plant manager roles, Jack was eager to join the Swaggerty’s Farm team in East Tennessee. Jack was drawn to working with a family-owned company that truly cares about the people and has a product he can be proud of. He’s been grateful to work alongside and learn from the Swaggerty family leadership still at the company, stating that they have helped him grow both professionally and personally. As a leader, he enjoys mentoring young managers and helping them develop and grow into their careers, believing that there is nothing more rewarding than being able to pass along what he has learned to others. His favorite Swaggerty’s Farm product is our all-natural links. In his free time, Jack enjoys cooking, especially Italian cuisine, and rooting for the Tennessee Volunteers as he’s fully embraced his East Tennessee home. Thank you, Jack.
