Construction is officially underway at the future home of the Urbandale Food Pantry! It was an honor to attend the groundbreaking ceremony last week and witness the dream coming to life. - As a long-time supporter of the Urbandale Food Pantry's mission, SVPA is proud to work alongside them, The Hansen Company, Inc and the rest of the project team to create a facility that will support and advance all that the food pantry does for our community.

Congratulations to ChildServe for meeting their goal of serving 100 kids in the first three years of their Pediatric Rehabilitation Unit! We're so thankful for the work they do in the lives of so many kids, and we're honored to be able to work alongside them to create spaces that serve and inspire the spirit of a child. We look forward to seeing the unit serve many more families for years to come!
Hooray for ??! ChildServe's Pediatric Rehabilitation unit opened in July 2022 with the goal of serving 100 kids in the first three years of operation. This September, we admitted our 100th child to the unit, completing our goal nearly a year early! ?? ?? We're beyond grateful for the ChildServe team members who have worked hard to serve all 100 kids with compassion, hope, and most importantly, the spirit of a child. ChildServe’s Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation program is the only freestanding, comprehensive pediatric inpatient rehabilitation program for children and young adults in the state of Iowa. We provide expert care for individuals from birth to age 21 who've experienced a variety of medical conditions – including brain and spinal cord injuries, complications of premature birth, burns & wounds, those recovering from surgery, and more. The new unit has enhanced the rehabilitation journey for each individual we serve and will enable more lives to be changed for years to come. We're proud to use our expertise to help children and families in Iowa and beyond. It's been an amazing week, seeing this year's Hubbell Extreme Build come to life! Working with On With Life to develop comfortable and safe environments for the families of their persons served has been a massively rewarding experience, and we can't wait to see the spaces put to good use. It's a privilege to work alongside organizations that do so much to serve our communities.
