In 2020, Svigals + Partners, an FCA company, and Skylight Studios of Woburn, MA were selected to design, fabricate, and install a new memorial for the City of Quincy, MA. Sited at the historic, garden-style Mount Wollaston Cemetery, the project’s intention was to express gratitude to those who have served the United States in armed conflicts from 1990 through present day. We are proud to announce on November 11, 2024, Veteran’s Day, the Memorial’s installation was celebrated with a dedication and posthumous honors to seven local veterans. “We pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedoms and our way of life,” Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch said in a written statement. We are proud to have been part of this public art project, and hope the site brings comfort to families and the community for generations to come.?

Thank you 3form!! We are honored to be recognized as an Install Contest Winner for the Beehive Bridge! This was a fantastic project -- requiring much collaboration and enabling us to help bridge (pun intended) two distinct neighborhoods. We are at our best when bringing people together. The Beehive Bridge stands as a beacon of rejuvenation and connectivity, brilliantly integrating 3form Koda XT polycarbonate panels into its design. These vibrant panels, rendered in shades of yellow and orange, mirror the fluid motion of a honeycomb, a nod to the industrious spirit symbolized by the city’s bee mascot. This design element not only beautifies the bridge but also illuminates New Britain’s downtown corridor, which has faced challenges since being bisected by Route 72 in the 1960s. The sweeping, illuminated railings not only reconnect the urban spaces but also highlight New Britain’s burgeoning status as a center for the arts, infusing the area with light, life, and a vision for the future. This blend of functional architecture and artistic expression showcases the city’s commitment to revitalizing its downtown area in a bright and optimistic manner.
