This can happen only If there is a matching donor, willing to donate one of the kidneys. And such an altruistic act would help me tremendously. Once the transplant is successful then, no doubt, there would be a night and day difference in my life. I can be more agile and mobile in my life and ministry and thus life becomes automatically less worrisome and cumbersome. More so I can be a living witness to the gift of organ donation in our society. All through my life I have been serving the vineyard of the Lord mentoring to the souls of the people of God. And I would like to continue the same till my last breath. For I believe and am convinced that is my ‘call’ in life. ? Ordained a Catholic priest in India, some 23 years ago I came to the United States and ever since I have been ministering to God’s people in different parishes. My parents are deceased, and I have a sister and two brothers living in India. I am 65 and the youngest. All my siblings have their own health and age-related issues and not in a position to be a donor. ? This is my life in short. With the help of a matching kidney donor, God willing, I could continue my life and ministry uninterrupted till God decides.
