You will serve as an ambassador for the research program, establish and manage relationships with collaborators, partners and stakeholders that are internal and external to the university, in support of UCLA’s growing use-inspired, societally impactful, sustainability research portfolio. Ideally, you have knowledge and passion for developing sustainable solutions across many climate planning and policy topic areas, including but not limited to water, energy, wildfire, and land use, and have a commitment to equity and environmental justice.

In this role you will be responsible for developing strategic marketing campaigns and overseeing their implementation, which will also involve developing distinct identities and brands for SLAGC and its strategic research initiatives that are aimed at confronting urban sustainability challenges of our time. Fund Manager The UCLA Sustainable Los Angeles Grand Challenge?(SLAGC) seeks an experienced professional with a passion for navigating new and complex situations to serve as the SLAGC Fund Manager. The ideal candidate has served in a public university environment, with exposure to a variety of university processes to be able to strategize and creatively solve unique problems and administer policies and processes effectively. This role will contribute specialized fund management expertise towards the expansion of the university’s use-inspired, societally impactful, interdisciplinary sustainability research portfolio.
