There is so much noise in our lives and in our organizations. Here's a way to figure out what you can focus on, picking a lane.

My theme today was "pick a lane." By picking a lane, we have an opportunity to be more powerful and less overwhelmed. What is the most important thing you can do for your family, community, workplace, and the world? As an example, the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) include 17 essential topics that are key for a world that works for everyone. My strategy is a guide for accelerating the impact for these topics and between them. 1.??????Pick a SDG lane that makes sense for you. ?There are 17 options, so focus on your expertise and passion. Then go hard and fast to solve what you can. 2.??????Consider the scale within your SDG focus. Will you work locally, regionally, nationally, or globally? 3.??????Select those who know how to weave through intersectional complexities. These weavers need to communicate broadly and bring everything together. I'm a weaver. I’m also focused on #17: Partnerships for the Goals; #13 Climate Action; and #16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. We need as much clarity and collaboration as possible during these times when we all need to step up for our rights, for a healthy food ecosystem, for a thriving climate, and for our democracy.?
