Thanks for your work on this and all the great sustainability initiatives you're involved with, Ann! Saint Mary's College has been a good leader in sustainability.
What an honor to receive the Sustainable Contra Costa Leadership award for Saint Mary's College of California's Sustainable Move Out efforts. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to expand the College’s impact during Move Out week, launching new, unique partnerships?with Recycle Smart, Republic Services and Mount Diablo Resource Recovery. In just one week, our Sustainable Move Out efforts diverted 6.7 Tons of lightly used items away from the landfill, extending the life of usable items by donating them to local nonprofits and re-use organizations.?A big shout out and thank you to Ashley Louisiana, Kimberly Lam, Adriana Medina and Daniel Allen for this collaborative partnership!
