Exciting progress in Boston! Our team is busy setting up a blower door test for two units at the Hano Homes project, a two-story building consisting of 20 stacked flats.? ? These tests help us establish a baseline for air leakage before construction begins, ensuring the building is as airtight as possible. This is crucial for enhancing energy efficiency and minimizing heating and cooling losses. Sustainable Comfort joined the development team at Cunningham Equities to celebrate the?MassWorks grant awarded to the Town of Clinton by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development. This funding will support critical repair and improvements to the stormwater drainage system,?vehicular and pedestrian safety enhancements, downtown beautification, and revitalization projects. The celebration was held at Jack’s Mill, a historic mill building being transformed into beautiful, safe, sustainable housing for the community. Sustainable Comfort is proud to assist Cunningham Equities with the development of Jack’s Mill and nearby James’ Corner. The MassWorks Infrastructure Program funding will support the continued growth of the community, improve public safety, spur economic development, and enhance the quality of life of its residents.

Our Senior Leadership Team recently convened in our Syracuse office to discuss strategic planning for 2025. The day included a review of financial goals, the development of departmental team maps for the upcoming year, a leadership reflection exercise, and a brainstorming session to evaluate our performance in 2024. The theme of the meeting invited each member to embrace the role of a cartographer, symbolizing the creation of a departmental roadmap for the upcoming year.
