Our projects range from single family homes up to several hundred apartment units, with experience in both affordable and market-rate housing. Sustainable Comfort is currently active in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York and specializes in Energy Star, LEED for Homes and Enterprise Green Communities verification. We also provide property management services in the Worcester, MA area. As the Phius Verifier and Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC) on this project we are happy to share that Village Grove is the first affordable apartment complex to integrate Passive House design principles alongside ground-source heat pumps, setting a new benchmark for sustainable living. To further reduce its environmental footprint, the complex is 100% all-electric, utilizing energy-efficient heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and domestic hot water systems – eliminating the need for fossil fuels entirely.
