Sun Prairie Area School District is making big strides in sustainability! This past semester, we partnered with SPASD to bring carton recycling to six more elementary schools, empowering over 2,385 students to make a di?erence right in their cafeterias. Thanks to this initiative, thousands of cartons will now be recycled at a Wisconsin facility and repurposed into paper products and building materials—keeping valuable resources out of landfills. ??

By transitioning infrastructure—such as tra?c lights, streetlights, and city buildings—to clean energy sources like solar power, City of Sun Prairie is seeing the rewards from its sustainable e?orts. This shift could mean lower taxes for residents, who are also saving by adopting renewable energy themselves. ?? https://lnkd.in/gwRDEEE5
