Our speakers will discuss the proposed transportation sales tax and ongoing bus initiatives at CATS. Then, we'll dive into an interactive workshop focused on improving bus stops and routes in the West Boulevard area. ?? We want YOUR input to help make our bus system work better for everyone in our community.

Sustain Charlotte, the Charlotte Regional Transportation Coalition, Mecklenburg County Air Quality, City of Charlotte Department of Transportation, Charlotte's Office of Sustainability and Resilience, and Charlotte Area Transit System invite you to experience a day in solidarity with those who don’t drive. This campaign highlights the needs of up to one-third of our community members who must or choose to walk, bike, use transit, or carpool every day. ?? Several local elected leaders, including 2 Charlotte Council members and a Mecklenburg commissioner, have already taken the pledge! This local daylong event is inspired by the weeklong national Week Without Driving campaign that’s taking place through Friday. ? Take the pledge, share your journey, and help us build a better transportation system for everyone!
