We are committed to creating a supportive environment where professionals thrive and excel. Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Senior Account Manager to join our team. This individual will bring a robust book of business, complete with high-level clients and shovel-ready projects, to Sussex Contractors. The Senior Account Manager will oversee the client experience from inception to completion, encompassing business development, estimating, procurement, construction management, and project closeout. Key Responsibilities: - Business Development: Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with high-level clients to secure new projects. - Project Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for potential and active projects. - Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for clients throughout the project lifecycle. - Procurement: Coordinate the acquisition of necessary materials and subcontractors to meet project needs. - Construction Oversight: Manage project schedules, budgets, and teams to ensure successful completion. - Closeout: Conduct final inspections, resolve outstanding issues, and ensure client satisfaction upon project completion. - Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and leverage company resources to deliver projects effectively. Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant role within the construction industry. - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field. - Proven track record of managing high-end residential and commercial construction projects. - Established book of business with high-level clients and shovel-ready projects. - Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Strong work ethic, honesty, integrity, and a results-driven mindset. - Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently and take initiative. - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
