I’m Matt Susk and I’m running to represent you on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. I got into this race as a first-time candidate because this city is my home and I want to see it grow and thrive again. I’m a third generation San Franciscan. As my wife and I prepare to bring a child into this neighborhood, I want this city to work for everyone. The fact is that school enrollment is down 25%, office vacancy in FiDi is 36%, and sales tax revenue in D3 is down 21%. Too many people and too many families end up leaving San Francisco because they can no longer afford to live here or they feel worried about raising a family here. That is unacceptable. I have the lived experience and the plans to deliver real solutions to these challenges and it’s why I’m centering the need for safe streets, thriving businesses, and government accountability in my campaign.
