Dr Aubra J. Gantt, Chancellor of Southern University at Shreveport was the keynote speaker for the 36th annual Shreveport-Bossier-DeSoto African American Scholarship Awards Banquet. Twelve people from Northwest Louisiana including Dr. Gantt were given the 2024 Outstanding African American Achievement Award. Proceeds from the banquet will help fund scholarships for college bound students. Congratulations to all of the award recipients!
