It’s Friday! Are you truly passionate about your work, or is it time for a change? Life is too short to spend so much of it working on something that doesn’t inspire you. If you’re curious, eager to make an impact, and want to help shape the future, consider #cybersecurity and check out the myths about the field that we de-bunk in the video below. With AI rapidly advancing, we need to make advancements in detecting what is real vs what is fake as that is getting harder. Deep fakes and other AI model abuses are becoming harder to detect, but as cybersecurity professionals, I am optimistic that we can protect the digital world from these threats. Over the past two decades, I’ve thrived on the adrenaline of battling malware, fraud, and security vulnerabilities. Protecting organizations from breaches and helping others do the same has been a rewarding experience. Thank you to Stanford University, Google, GV (Google Ventures), Dasient, and Twitter for for helping shape my interests in the field.
