Kendall and I really enjoyed our time with Adriene Crockett discussing our partnership and how to remove the barriers blocking access to appropriate care for patients with chronic pain. I’ve noticed that whenever I’m having work-related discussions with likeminded people, the conversation always begins and ends with the patient. It’s refreshing, because there’s so much wrong with healthcare, that it can be hard to remember there’s some really great people trying to change things. Here’s to all those that are not simply exploiting an exhausted healthcare system for profit, but truly do what they do, for the right reasons…for the patients who rely on us.
