?? A huge congratulations to Joann Mejia for passing the SIE exam! Originally from the Dominican Republic, Joann first became interested in a career in financial services during his internship with Bank of America. He was motivated to provide the best possible customer service and utilized his Spanish speaking skills and background in psychology to accomplish this. He currently works as a client service representative at Brown Brothers and Co and hopes to use his education and analytical skills to improve the client experience. In studying for the SIE exam, Support to Succeed helped show him how to maintain accountability, explore his own professional and personal goals, and made studying for the SIE more attainable. ?? Congratulations to Chris Lopez for passing the SIE exam. A Dallas, TX native, Chris was not originally focused on financial services until he started at Year Up and began his internship at JP Morgan, where he gained more exposure to the finance field. He is currently working as a personal banker at PNC and his future career goal is to become a financial advisor, as he hopes to see the nuts and bolts of finance roles. Having experience in customer service roles has helped him excel in this industry, especially in understanding how to work with customers, problem solve, and the importance of being an expert in your field. In studying for the SIE exam, Chris found that the Support to Succeed program fostered self-accountability in completing content and understanding the material, and is delighted to have been a part of this program.
