We're all pretty familiar with the term "fast fashion", but what about "fast furniture"? In an article for Fast Company, Adele Peters delves into the rise of low-cost furniture, and its obvious sustainability implications. In the article, Supply Trace Co-Founder Shawn Bhimani shares his thoughts & asks some important questions about how such low prices might be possible: “When we see a price like [a $20 sofa], it’s a red flag that maybe there’s some part of the supply chain for that product where we need to do further investigation...
