Supplement Advisory Group specializes in practical regulatory support for dietary supplement and hemp product marketers. We focus on finding marketing risks and providing practical lower-risk solutions on the web, social media, and product labels. This includes compliant marketing strategy review and claims risk analysis. We take a preventative approach to regulatory risk in the dietary supplement and hemp industries. ? Compliant marketing strategy review ? Claims Risk Analysis ? Quality System Review ? M&A and New Category Expansion Review ? We develop specific compliance training for your company. Examples include social media engagement, marketing, and content copywriting. Rule #1: Don't mislead the consumer. We also need to properly message products in a way that is ethical, sensitive, compliant, substantiated, and effective. I initially developed Apex Compliance? to solve a problem my consulting practice needed to fix: finding an easy way to scan websites for regulatory trigger words and provide actionable "de-risk" reports. I couldn't find a program that did this, so I built one. Then word got out, and colleagues started asking me to use the product. Then the lightbulb went on, and I knew I was onto something. I had the product rebuilt and went through the patent process, and today, 17 months since launch, it has many new features, such as YouTube and content review scanning, and more to come (..social media scanning).     GLP-1 support is big news, but a lot can go wrong when marketing these products. Before understanding how to market a product compliantly, it's important to know what can get you in trouble. Here's my roadmap of what to avoid. ?? GLP-1 agonist, especially on labels ?? “Nature’s Ozempic” types of claims ?? Helps lower blood sugar & other biomarker claims ?? Helps symptoms of obesity, such as mood disorders ?? Preventing “disease-related” side effects like chronic nausea ?? Clinically proven statements Here's a recent warning letter about GLP-1 claims.
