What an honor! The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development is awarding SWL&P the Silver Certification in its 2024 Vets Ready Employer Initiative. Superior Water, Light and Power Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of ALLETE Inc., sells electricity, water and natural gas to customers in Superior, Wisconsin, and adjacent areas. We've served the city of Superior and surrounding areas in northwestern Wisconsin since 1889 and have 15,000 electric customers, 13,000 natural gas customers and 10,000 water customers. By purchasing electricity at wholesale prices, we are able to combine reliable service with rates that are among the lowest in Wisconsin and competitive nationally.
