That’s why our team valued being at CAL SMACNA’s 2025 Day at the Capitol to meet with policymakers and advocate for the sheet metal industry.? ? We had the chance to hear from San Diego Senator Brian Jones as a guest speaker, and discuss key industry issues with Chris Walker, EVP of CAL SMACNA. These conversations are crucial in shaping policies that impact our trade, workforce, and the future of construction in California. ? One of the event’s special traditions is encouraging members to bring their children to help educate the next generation on the legislative process. A highlight of the day was when Jack Reynolds was invited by Assembly Member Michelle Rodriguez to see the Assembly floor and even sit at her desk—an unforgettable experience! ? A proud Ohio native and 3rd-generation sheet metal worker, Jason brings over 30 years of HVAC experience, leading and manufacturing for projects both in the U.S. and abroad. Since joining the Superior Duct team in 2020 as a sales representative, Jason has been instrumental in driving success on notable projects like Durango Casino, the University of Utah Huntsman Mental Health Center, and the St. George Temple. Guided by his principles, “Never be outworked” and “Always remember where you started,” Jason’s unique ability to build strong relationships and deliver effective solutions makes him the perfect leader to spearhead our new location in Columbus. We are excited to announce the opening of our brand-new 102,000 sq. ft. facility in Columbus, Ohio! This expansion highlights our dedication to growth and our position as a leader in sheet metal manufacturing across North America. With all equipment installed, we’re on track to be fully operational by February 1, 2025. This facility will allow us to better serve our customers and partners, with exciting projects already underway for major companies and institutions in the area.
