Exciting milestones in Gardner, KS – we broke ground on the Lone Star Prairie Subdivision, bringing 187 new homes to life and fueling Gardner’s future! Big things are on the horizon for this growing community!

Congratulations to AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk on its grand opening! Superior Bowen is proud to have been part of this project, providing comprehensive site work with 200,000 square feet of building pad preparation, over 80,000 cubic yards of mass grading, and 39,000 square yards of asphalt paving. We’re thrilled to have helped bring this state-of-the-art facility to life!

We were honored to host the Kansas City Round Table Discussion and tour for Missouri Asphalt Pavement Association at our Manchester Plant this week. We welcomed 75 clients, consultants, and industry peers for an in-depth look at our operations. Our VP of Quality & Materials, Jennifer Breuer, shared insights on the challenges facing asphalt production and quality management, sparking engaging discussions on innovation and collaboration in our industry.

In partnership with MAPA and KAPA, this event aims to strengthen collaboration with municipalities in the Kansas City region. Congratulations to our August Champion of the Month, Tim Fields. "We have recently had some issues with 2349 paver. We were having a hard time getting to these issues due to recent workload emergencies. Tim came in on Saturday morning and worked on the paver to get the issues resolved. This is one of many examples of how Tim goes above and beyond to ensure equipment is repaired and available for the crews. Thank you, Tim!"

Congratulations to our July Champion of the Month, Corey Houston. "I need to give praise to Corey Houston. In the heat of the work day as things build up, he is the calm and reassuring voice on the other end of the phone. No matter how animated callers may get about the obstacles of the day, Corey and his demeanor are always calm and helpful. While I can't speak for everyone, I know that I appreciate the way he goes about his day."
