Exciting news: Our latest Fortnite UEFN release, DONUT BOX PVP! We've been getting to know the new Analytics Device and here are some fun stats from our launch week: ?? 185,000 player eliminations have happened on our map ?? 40,000 rounds have been started ?? 70,000 special abilities have been used ? 25% of players have leveled up (1+ hrs of playtime) Data-driven development is core to our methodology, and we'll be deeply integrating it at every opportunity to gain insights into the behavior of our players. ?? Announcing our new Fortnite UEFN map: ONLY UP STEALTH! We’ve taken on a mission to trailblaze a new genre in the Fortnite UEFN ecosystem by launching a game every 8 weeks—and we’re making it happen! Key takeaways from our experience so far: 1?? Speed matters. It’s worth it to build fast! Verse and UEFN has its challenges (e.g., ramping devs up in a new language, learning/working within the limitations of a developing platform), but the upside in production speed is huge! Even with a lean team, we’re able to go from ideation to a live game with thousands of active players in just weeks instead of years! RIP the era of slow-moving AAA games ?? 2?? Iteration over perfection. Getting our games out quickly means we’re focusing on getting real players in (over 2000 hours played in just the first few weeks, with thousands of unique active players!)
