On behalf of the entire Super 8 family, we are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Ron Rivett, founder of Super 8.?I had the distinct honor of having Ron join me onstage during the Super 8 Brand Connection at the Wyndham Global Conference in September. Ron gave an impromptu and extremely heart-felt history of the brand that was the highlight of the event. We presented him and his wife Sharon with the Lifetime Achievement Award, and shared that we would subsequently rename it the “Ron Rivett Lifetime Achievement Award.” I have never met a kinder, more giving gentleman in my career and I am better for having known Ron. God bless him an the Rivett family. Rest in peace Ron.
