About Us: The Empire State University SGA is committed to enhancing the student experience by actively engaging, listening to, and advocating for our diverse student body. Love is Love ?????????????? I can’t think of a better way to wrap up the month of June - by celebrating love and pride and LGBTQIA+ civil rights with our LGBTQIA+ community members and allies around the globe at the annual NYC Pride Parade. SUNY, is one of the many organizations that joined the annual celebration/march today. The SUNY team includes our Chancellor John King, SUNY Pride Band (made up of students from across SUNY campuses), Student Assembly of the State University of New York (SUNY SA), State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill President Marion Terenzio and alums, student leaders from Empire State University/SUNY Empire Student Government Association and SUNY System Administration staff members. Big thank you to Justin R. Stolarik and Maxine Moylan from Stony Brook University and Justin Miller from University at Albany for leading and helping with the SUNY Pride Band. Truly a team effort to make this year Pride events a successful one.
