Suntec Designed & Suntec Built. Construction at 1020 Apache is progressing rapidly, now pouring on Level 5. Our construction team is currently 28 days ahead of the original project schedule. This 552,380-square-foot high-rise on a 1.3-acre site will offer additional housing for local collegegoers in Tempe, AZ. It will feature amenities such as private study areas, pools on the 5th and 14th floors, and an on-site coffee shop. Civil Engineering Student @ Purdue University | Graduating 2026 | Suntec Concrete Intern
I've finished my internship as an Engineering & Design Intern at Suntec Concrete! These past 12 weeks have helped me realize that this is the career path I want to take, and working with concrete has opened my eyes to new possibilities. This summer, I've grown both professionally and personally. From calculating structural materials in the office to tying rebar early in the morning at the pour, this experience has meant a great deal to me and is a huge milestone in my life. I feel lucky to have had both on- and off-field experience, witnessing breathtaking projects and the fast, effective way Suntec progresses. I wouldn't have been able to go through this internship without the help of Jon Galvez, and I am forever grateful for it. Antonio Perez and Nick Orosco showed me the day-to-day operations in the field and how preparation starts within yourself. To the Engineering & Design Team, it was thoroughly amazing working with you. A huge thank you to Valerie Granger and Andrea Appleyard, who were extremely influential in my growth. You are an inspiration to every woman in STEM, and I am in awe of your work.

Suntec Engineering & Design's first project is in progress at 1020 E Apache Boulevard in Tempe, AZ and we're excited to share some of the first few updates! Breaking ground in June, this 14-level multifamily development is a mile from Arizona State University. This high-rise will be a 552,380 SF project on a 1.3-acre lot, offering additional housing for collegegoers in the area. It will be complete with amenities like private study areas, pools on the fifth and 14th floors, and an on-site coffee shop. The formwork seen in these pictures has now been poured as of this morning.
