From what was once a Comfort Inn, Sunrise Management & Consulting - NY, BBL, and other talented partners completed renovations, improvements, and rebranding from Choice Hotel’s Comfort Inn brand to the more upscale Ascend Hotel Collection. On November 13th, 2024, the teams from affiliated companies Sunrise Management & Consulting, The Inn at The Century House - Events, Hotel, Dining, and The Clocktower Hotel came together for Together We Thrive—a special employee engagement event focused on connection, teamwork, and giving back. The day kicked off with a delicious lunch at The Century House, where we tackled the fun House of Cards team challenge and heard company updates from Sunrise President Jesse Holland, CPM, who shared our Core Focus: "We create security, stability, and opportunity by investing in, operating, and developing real estate. When our customers experience a welcoming apartment for a month or a hotel room for a night, they have a Home Base. When we do our job well, our customers enjoy their stay and want to return." We were also inspired by Colin DeMers (Managing Director, The Century House) and Joann Dwyer (Executive VP, Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY) as they shared the history, critical mission, and work of The Regional Food Bank.
