    I’ve been thinking about the best ways I can support startup CEOs before year end, with the goal of helping teams pursue growth more effectively in 2025. One common sentiment I’ve heard from CEOs at all stage of growth in recent months is some version of: “We need to keep advancing all potential paths to growth simultaneously, and we'll see where we gain traction first.” What all of these leaders have in common is that they are pursuing paths to growth that will require their organizations to: ? Sell into fully new customer types ? Learn what these new customers need, how they solve challenges today, their expectations, ways of working, etc. ? Position existing solutions in the context of needs ? Potentially define, iterate, and develop new solutions to address needs ? Assess how existing organizational capabilities and resources available align to serving those new customer types, and identify gaps (The list goes on) As a result, I’ve decided to focus much of the rest of this year on helping existing and new startup clients: ? Review their portfolios of growth initiatives ? Document their understanding of opportunities ? Identify key assumptions and open questions ?     Building & Engaging Expert Networks To Drive Growth ? One type of initiative I’m often leading within my health tech and investment firm clients is buildout and management of networks of key opinion leaders, subject matter experts, and target customer groups that my clients can engage at regular intervals to drive solution development and commercialization. ? For many leaders, it takes a bit of a mindset shift and time working with these networks to realize they are strategic resources that can be leveraged to achieve multiple organizational growth goals – not just to be used for one-off market insights or tactical commercial activities. ? So many of us were originally trained to think of and engage with KOLs, experts, and the like as resources to be used sparingly (due to cost and degree of influence) and for a limited set of activities (in some cases, for very real regulatory reasons, but in many other instances, primarily to avoid them seeing the messiness within our organizations and solutions in development.) ? I’ve developed a process to design, implement, and manage networks of KOLs, SMEs, and target customers that align to my clients' organizational growth goals, while also giving teams time and experience engaging with these networks in new and different ways, with my support. ? If you give these individuals a more intentional seat at the table, where they can truly learn about your organization, team, and solutions, and you enable a two-way dialogue that facilitates ongoing learning and feedback, all parties will derive more value from these relationships. ? Sharing four facts from the book in the photo, which you can buy here to support Women's Health Access Matters: https://lnkd.in/gNgHbxK9 No. 8 - 64% of common medical interventions are less effective or less accessible for women compared to only 10% for men. No. 10 - Across 770 diseases, from diabetes to cancer, women are diagnosed on average four years later than men. No. 56 - Women with heart attack symptoms are often misdiagnosed with stress or panic disorder instead of receiving a full cardiovascular workup. No. 90 - 29% of U.S. women live in states where abortion is either unavailable or severely restricted.
