Sunhouse Development Company, a local Cary-based firm, is actively working on several commercial projects in the Triangle area. One of their key developments is The Shoppes at Twyla Walk, a two-story, 18,000-square-foot office and retail building located at 2301 Corley Road in Cary, near Morrisville Parkway and I-540. The project, which is expected to be completed by July 2025, is being developed by Sunhouse alongside Stanley Martin Homes, which is handling the residential portion of the larger Twyla development, including 179 townhomes. The Shoppes at Twyla Walk will feature large floor-to-ceiling windows, an outdoor balcony, and more than 70 parking spaces. It includes five retail suites ranging from 652 to 3,062 square feet, with one end space designed for an upscale food and beverage tenant.

Sunhouse Development Company, a development firm based in Cary, is developing a new retail center in Apex/west Cary. The 30,000-square-foot center will consist of three buildings, offering retail space for various tenants. Construction is expected to be complete by October 2025. The development was initially delayed due to the pandemic but is now moving forward following Duke Health’s plans to expand nearby. The growing residential and commercial development in the area, particularly west of Highway 540, is driving the need for more local retail spaces.
