Our team has been hard at work this weekend at hurricane relief sites throughout the state. Today in Sarasota, we distributed essentials to those in need in partnership with Florida Department of Children and Families. In St. Petersburg, we partnered with Farm Share to hand out food and other resources. Our parent company, Centene Corporation, also flew supplies in to the Tampa area to assist with the need. We cannot express our gratitude enough to our partners DCF, Hope Florida, Farm Share and Current Church for helping us serve so many this weekend. CLEARWATER: We will be in Clearwater for hurricane relief in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside and Farm Share TOMORROW, Oct. 16. New Port Richey: Sunshine Health will be at the All Ways Center in New Port Richey with Farm Share for hurricane relief on Wednesday, Oct. 16. We served St. Petersburg community members in need at Current Church today with Outback Steakhouse. Hot meals and shelf-stable food, water and other essentials were distributed to those in need. Together, we served approximately 1,500 people during today’s event.
