We're one month out from #ConstructionInclusionWeek! Yesterday, in partnership with AMCA - Associated Minority Contractors of Arizona, Sundt hosted a pre-Construction Inclusion Week (CIW) mixer to amplify the excitement and energy for this October's CIW. Thank you to our industry partners for attending and discussing the importance of diversity and inclusion efforts across the industry. Speakers included Sundt's DEI Manager Tracy Sanders; McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. DE&I Supplier Diversity & Community Outreach Manager Kent L.; Mortenson Estimator, Karla Yanni; Hensel Phelps Coordinator of Supplier Diversity, Rosemary Middleton; Kuniklo Corporation President/CEO Patti Olds; and AMCA President Ricardo Carlo.

At Sundt, we recognize that the total well-being of our employee-owners includes their mental health. As a demonstration of our continued support to mental wellness, we recently launched Mental Health First Aid training. This 8-hour course teaches our employee-owners how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. Since its launch at the end of July, 50 Sundt employee-owners have been certified. In honor of Construction Suicide Prevention Week, we challenge our employee-owners to become certified. Our employee-owners also participated in a national stand-down on Monday to honor all lives lost to suicide. Construction efforts are underway on Corporate Drive Segments 4 and 5! The City of Lewisville's $28.3 million project is a continuation of Segments 2 and 3, which were awarded to Sundt in December 2023. The scope includes 1.35 miles of new alignment, four-lane arterial roadway and the widening of an existing two-lane roadway to four lanes. #SundtConstruction #Texas

That's a wrap on our Pacific Northwest Sundt Foundation Charity Golf Tournament! ? Thank you to our generous sponsors for their support. Together, we raised $27,000 for Project 48 Inc. The organization supports youth in foster care during critical transitions, aiming to provide them with brand new, brand name clothing. They ease transitions into or within the foster care system and offer transitional support to teens and young adults across the greater Portland metro. #sundtservice #givingback

That's a wrap on our Sundt Foundation 25th anniversary grants! Throughout the month of August, our employee-owners surprised local nonprofits in the areas where we live and work. Charlotte- Children's Flight of Hope provides flights to essential, life-changing and life-saving medical care that might otherwise financially be out of reach. ?? Tucson- Youth On Their Own supports the high school graduation and continued success of youth experiencing homelessness in Pima County.
