It's official! Our Mozza Fritto mozzarella sticks are here. Mozzarella sticks aren't just one of our favorite snacks, they are one of America's favorite snack foods (DoorDash reported them as their top game day food item ordered during the 20/21 NFL season). Creating a plant-based version that is as good as the ones we grew up with has been a big goal of ours. And we did it!!! Happy Lasagna Day! We can hardly believe that what started out as Sunday gatherings with friends and family has grown so much. We're now at grocers nationwide, and making more than lasagna, but the same love and care goes into each dish as it did when we were cooking in our home kitchen. As lasagna makers of course this caught our attention. And as absurd and unappetizing as the concept of cooking lasagna in a mailbox is, it certainly does point to the serious issue of climate change. ? Study after study has pointed to how eating less meat and dairy, and raising fewer animals for consumption, is critical to tackling the problem of global warming. This recent study, published by Harvard University?animal law and policy program, and reported by Vox specifically calls out the climate deadlines for the meat and dairy industries.?? As we suffer through sweltering days and devastating storms where climate change is right on our door, we try to focus on the work we're doing?in creating plant-based alternatives to foods that we love to eat, starting with our delicious, authentic lasagnas.
