?? Exciting News! ?? We’re thrilled to welcome our newest team member, Nikki Frank, to the service department! With an impressive 20 years of hospitality experience, from bartending to Assistant GM, Nikki brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for exceptional service. Nikki’s background in startups has equipped her with the skills to build training programs, manage staffing, and optimize operations. Her achievements include tackling a 90-day backlog of PM service calls in just 30 days and implementing processes that enhance efficiency. Currently a Six Sigma Yellow Belt and working towards her Green Belt, she’s dedicated to continuous improvement. At Sun, Nikki aims to build and strengthen relationships with both our customers and technicians, fostering open communication to enhance our processes and boost customer satisfaction. And yes, she’ll be sharing her mom’s delicious Christmas cookies! ?? Outside of work, Nikki enjoys traveling, attending concerts (most recently Riot Fest, Chappell Roan, and The Get Up Kids), gardening, and theater. She lives in Aurora with her husband and their two cats—a new adventure after a lifetime of dog ownership! ?? Exciting News! ?? We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our team, David Lyon! His journey in project management within the construction industry began in 2018, fueled by a genuine passion for the field. Starting as a millworker and transitioning to a materials sales role, he quickly moved up the ranks. In 2020, he became a Project Assistant for a commercial general contractor and earned a promotion to Project Manager in just a year, successfully managing tenant build-out and improvement projects. Over the years, he has developed a strong expertise in HVAC systems and has led projects across various sectors, including healthcare, education, and retail. Outside of work, he enjoys quality time with his wife, Gina, their one-month-old son, August, and is also the bassist in a Ska punk band, Bumsy and the Moochers! ?? **In Loving Memory of George Scoville** ?? It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of George Scoville, a cherished member of the Chicagoland HVAC industry. George was known for his brilliant mind, fierce loyalty, and one-of-a-kind personality. His passion and dedication left a lasting impact on all of us. George’s remarkable career began in the 1970s at Inland Heating, followed by his work at Murphy Miller in the 80s. He later founded his own mechanical company, Mechanical Construction Management, in the 90s, where he proudly introduced his son, Chris Scoville, to the industry. George concluded his career working alongside Chris at Sun Mechanical Systems from 2008 to 2024. As we remember George, let us keep his family and loved ones in our thoughts during this challenging time. His legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
