While we're always ready to help when a storm hits, #HurricaneHelene is one that quite literally hit close to home. Some of our team members left their own clean-up efforts to help restore power in other areas. Resources are available, and our team is ready to help employees navigate next steps. The American Red Cross has a Disaster Distress Helpline that offers free counseling and support, and the Employee Assistance Program is available for counseling support as part of our benefit offerings.

The devastation we are seeing across the Carolinas is heartbreaking. But even amidst the grief, our crews are seeing the resiliency of these communities. The way they are supporting each other - and our crews - is inspiring! Our teams in Traveler's Rest, Salem, and Greenville have been gifted thank you notes and drawings from neighborhood kiddos, and local communities are providing meals to keep our guys well fed. In the days after #HurricaneHelene, our support team rallies together to help the crews out in the field do their best work safely and efficiently.
