?? In this month’s edition of Meet the Training Team, we’re excited to introduce Andrew Hoffmann. ?? As the Medical Training Supervisor at Summit Point Training Facility, Andrew leads the medical training division, providing specialized tactical medical training to a wide range of clients. He also plays a key role in EMS education, offering training for agencies and individuals entering the field. His responsibilities span curriculum development, instructor coordination, and ensuring that all training aligns with the industry best practices and real-world operational needs. Before joining Summit Point, Andrew dedicated over a decade to serving Berkeley County, WV, as a Paramedic and Captain with the Berkeley County Ambulance Authority. In these roles, he was responsible for high-acuity patient care, operational leadership, and mentoring EMS personnel in a fast-paced, high-demand 911 system. Now in his 14th year with Summit Point, we are fortunate to have someone with Andrew’s wealth of experience and unwavering dedication leading the way in medical training! What Andrew loves most about his role at SPTF is the dynamic nature of the work. Every day presents a new challenge, whether he’s developing high-level tactical medical training, supporting real-world operational exercises, or mentoring future EMS providers. He thrives in the fast-paced environment, combining his extensive emergency medicine experience with hands-on instruction to ensure responders are prepared for high-risk situations. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family on their small farm, embracing a hands-on, active lifestyle. Happily married with four children, Andrew cherishes the moments spent together, whether it’s working on the farm, enjoying the outdoors, or creating lasting memories.
