It's Women's History Month and we're highlighting the incredible women who make our company shine! Meet Angie Dejesus! ?? Who am I? I’m Angie from the Farmington location in Connecticut, and I’m proud to share my story as part of this celebration. I’m a 24-year-old proud Puerto Rican who has overcome incredible challenges. For years, I was told I couldn’t do certain things, and I believed it was normal. As a domestic violence survivor, I want women everywhere to know that there is always a way out. I was being put through mental and physical abuse, and when I finally found the strength to leave, it came at a great cost. I lost my job and my home, leaving me homeless with my almost 2-year-old for an entire year. It was one of the hardest times of my life, but I refused to give up. Eventually, I moved to Bristol and applied at the Bristol 1 location. From the moment I was hired, I knew God had a purpose for me. My GM at the time, Jose Del Monte, provided the best training and brought positivity into my days, which motivated me to push forward. Now, three years later, I love my job more than ever. It has helped me grow in so many ways—I’ve become more social, more positive, and more compassionate. Every day, I connect with people from all walks of life, and I strive to spread kindness and encouragement to others. ?? Who Inspires Me? My grandmother. No matter how hard she worked, she always had a smile on her face. She gave more than she received, was deeply respected, and loved everyone around her. Her strength and kindness continue to inspire me every day. ?? Fun Fact: I’ve turned my creativity into multiple passions! I run a small business called Angie’s Sweet Treats, where I make cakes, cake pops, chocolate-covered strawberries, you name it! I also do hair, including braiding, dyeing, and cutting, and I design custom T-shirts and logos. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that anything you put your mind to, you can achieve. To all the women out there: You are powerful. You are strong. Your crown may tilt, but it will never fall. Never forget that someone out there loves you wholeheartedly! I am the Enterprise Data Manager at Summit Wash Holdings, originally from the East Coast, but I’m grateful to call Boise, Idaho, home. My passion has always been in STEM, with a deep love for data modeling and statistics. I thrive on solving complex problems and uncovering insights through data. When I’m not at my computer, you can find me running trails in the Boise foothills or playing one of my string instruments. ?? Who Inspires Me? Margaret Hamilton. As a pioneer of software programming and engineering, she played a crucial role in the Apollo mission, proving that innovation and determination can break barriers. Her legacy reminds me to always push forward and embrace challenges with confidence. ?? Fun Fact: I am part of the first generation of women in my family to graduate college and build a career. Where I had no marked path, my daughter will have a paved road. I'm blessed to be presented with challenges every day that can be reshaped into opportunities for connection and growth. This March, we’re celebrating Women's History Month by highlighting the incredible women who make our company shine! Meet Jacqueline Johnson! Who am I? I’m Jacqueline, a proud supervisor at the Orange Park location of Waters Car Wash. Born in the North and raised in the South, I was a little girl with many dreams. I always knew that I would grow up to have some fun interactive job. My career has taken me through many different paths—from cosmetology to pest control, and even becoming an EMT and volunteering for the fire department. I’ve always loved working with people, staying active, and making a difference. In 2023, I joined Waters, I started as a team member thinking it would be a small part-time job. Little did I know, I would fall in love with everything about it—the customers, my team, and the energy of the job itself. Helping my team grow and inspiring those around me is what drives me every day. This isn’t just a job—it’s my career, my passion, and my purpose. Waters has given me the opportunity to grow, lead, and be part of an amazing team. I can’t wait to see what the future holds! ?? Who Inspires Me? My son, Bryce. At 16 years old, he faces challenges every day with cerebral palsy, microcephaly, seizure disorder, and quadriplegia—but he never lets that define him. Bryce has completely changed my perspective on life. He’s helped me to grow as a person and he reminds me to be strong, physically, and mentally .He reminds me to love unconditionally without judgment. Without Bryce I don’t know who I would be or where I would be. Because of him, I strive to be the best version of myself, both as a mom and a leader. Love you, Bryce! ?? ?? Fun Fact: I love playing video games like Fortnite with my 12-year-old son, husband, and sister! I love to sing, even though I’m horrible at it, it brings pure enjoyment to my soul. ?? Waters Car Wash Opens its Newest Wash Location?? Waters Car Wash has officially opened its newest location in Orlando, FL, today, March 12, 2025! The wash features 3 pay lanes, a 120' wash tunnel with state-of-the-art equipment, 25 vacuum spaces and is equipped to produce one of the cleanest vehicles on the road! A huge thank you to Wash Manager Nelson Sanchez and his outstanding team for their dedication in preparing the site for a successful launch. I also want to recognize and appreciate the many teammates behind the scenes who contributed to making this opening possible. It was more than just a walk—it was a powerful reminder of the strength, resilience, and hope that unites us all. We are honored to support this cause, to stand beside survivors, and to remember those we've lost. Seeing our community come together, lifting each other up, and taking action for a brighter future was truly inspiring. We also had a great time connecting with everyone at our booth, where participants could take part in our Spin-to-Win giveaway for a chance to win prizes like a free car wash or a month of free washes!
