Her calm and comforting presence made all the difference in easing his anxiety. She reassured him every step of the way, and her encouraging words helped him feel brave and safe during the procedure. Her professionalism and gentle approach have left a lasting, positive impression on my son, and I am so grateful for the compassionate care she provided. Thank you for turning a stressful situation into a much better experience for both of us and ultimately shaping his perspective on having to come to the hospital.” – From nominating patient The DAISY Award is a recognition program to celebrate and recognize nurses by collecting nominations from patients, families, and co-workers.
