SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, in partnership with the IAAPA Foundation, is thrilled to sponsor three CUNY students to attend the IAAPA Institute for Attractions Professionals in Orlando, Florida as part of the IAAPA Expo Education Conference! This two-day event will allow participants to “gain a global attractions perspective, learn more about all areas of attraction operation, and will explore best practices across a wide variety of attractions ranging from theme parks and zoos, to water parks, family fun centers, and cultural experiences.” Meanwhile, the two-day professional development program is "a blend of classroom instruction led by industry experts and small group activities.” Congratulations to Christopher, Mariami, and Ilithya on this achievement! Christopher and Ilithya are both attending Hunter College studying Arts Management, and Mariami is attending Kingsborough Community College studying Tourism and Hospitality with a concentration in Hotel Management. Combined, the students have worked in global hospitality settings from Tbilisi, Georgia to Yokosuka, Japan and Paris, France

SUMMIT is coming to Paris!

Floating into NYC Pride with Playbill ?? SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is proud to be partnering with Playbill for their third annual Pride in Times Square celebration! Join us on June 29 as we kick off day two of the event with a celebration of the NYC Summer Youth Employment Pride Program at 11 AM. SUMMIT has partnered with SYEP each year since the initiative's inception in 2022. The program was launched to connect young people who identify as LGBTQIA+ with supportive, welcoming, paid summer jobs and career experiences. From the street to 1,100 feet ?? SUMMIT One Vanderbilt in partnership with the FDNY Foundation and SL Green Realty Corp., hosted the second annual Climb to SUMMIT this past weekend! Climbers raced to highlight the importance of physical fitness for the brave FDNY firefighters, EMTs and Paramedics who are always ready to respond at a moment’s notice. Funds raised helped purchase stair climbers for FDNY firehouses and EMS stations!
