The Reno Sanbell Softball Team may have faced their first loss of the season last night, but the fun didn’t stop! ?? The Outlook Angels clinched the win with a final score of 18-6, but our team had plenty of standout moments. Mason and Cohen rocked the outfield with some epic saves, and Cohen also smashed a stellar home run! The real MVP of the night? On August 8, 1907, the first professional engineering (PE) license was issued to Wyoming engineer, Charles Bellamy. Since then, PE licensure has expanded and professional engineers across the U.S. have made the commitment to protect public health, safety, and welfare by following suit. ? Today is Professional Engineers Day and we're joining the National Society of Professional Engineers in celebrating PEs across the country and raising awareness of the many benefits of licensure including: ? Respect: PEs are highly respected, earning a place among elite professionals. ? Career Development: A PE license impresses employers, enhancing your stature and demonstrating leadership and commitment. It broadens career options and offers greater job security. ? Authority: Only PEs can sign and seal engineering drawings and serve as expert witnesses. ?
