But today, we stand in Erwin, back on I-26, proud to reopen the interstate to one-way traffic in each direction, restoring a critical route for our community. Our team, alongside countless others, have worked to clean debris, rebuild infrastructure, and restore this lifeline. My job is weird. When I was hired, my husband asked me what I was actually going to be doing. My response was, essentially, "I really don't know yet." Fast forward three years. I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I was in the right place at the right time. I am so grateful that Sterling Wellness Solutions decided I was a solid candidate and that Summers-Taylor, Inc took a shot in the dark. In the wake of Helene, our communities are hurting. We are angry and confused and many are without basic necessities. I've never known a company to meet disaster in such a selfless manner but Summers-Taylor, Inc is doing just that. I'm PROUD of our community, my coworkers, and my friends.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, our thoughts and prayers are with the communities of Eastern TN and Western NC. We are deeply committed to helping restore the region and are working tirelessly to reopen I-26 as quickly as possible to ensure safe passage and support restoration efforts. We are collaborating with community liaisons to provide water, food and the basic necessities to those affected. There is a tremendous amount of work being done, with countless people and organizations working around the clock to help our communities recover from this disaster. These areas mean so much to all of us, and we are proud to stand alongside our families and neighbors in the cleanup and recovery efforts. Stay safe, and together, we will recover.
