Kortx software can now scan complex tool shapes, while they're moving, and instantly check the wear on the tool since the last measurement. This will reduce down-time since tools don't need to be removed and measured in the shop. Anyone will be able to perform the scan. The system can be mounted on a robot arm, to perform automatic scans.

Kortx can find defects on tracked parts. - Kortx finds defects on a moving part with 100 micrometer precision. - The part's pose relative to the vision system is tracked in real time. - The 3D data is mapped to the CAD model and compared against the surface of the part. - Each 3D data point is projected to its nearest position on the surface of the CAD model and colored according to the distance between the scan and projected point. - Points that are far from the CAD model surface receive a brighter color indicating the location of a part defect.
