Today is #NationalSTEMDay! Sumitomo is a strong supporter of STEM education for students interested in pursuing careers in this field. In addition to our apprenticeship program, we offer machining internships for students from The College of Albemarle, allowing them to work part-time in our shop while attending machining school. Once they graduate, they not only have a job waiting for them here but are also ahead in their training as machinists.
